We, DaoLens, Inc., or our subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively referred to as “DaoLens”, “we”, “us”, “our” “Company”) are the owners of the website Crunch (crunchit.ai) (“Website”) and the Company product (“Product”), collectively referred to as “Platform”. The Product is an artificial intelligence powered analytics software which automatically tracks and understands customer usage patterns and serves as an intelligent data analyst (“Services”). The Website showcases the Services of the Company.

DaoLens respects data privacy rights and has created this Privacy Notice in line with its commitment to privacy. This Privacy Notice (“Privacy Notice”) sets forth how we collect, use and protect the personal data collected on this Platform.

Website: You may provide us with information when you access and/or use our Website, contact us through the Website, schedule a demo call with our team, use interactive features of the Website including providing feedback or suggestions, making requests, or participate in surveys, contests, webinars, events, podcasts, promotions, sweepstakes, requesting customer support.


  1. Account creation and Sign-up: We may collect your Personal Data when you subscribe for our Services and sign-up and create an account such as your name, location and email address.

The User undertakes that he shall be solely responsible for the accuracy, correctness, or truthfulness of the Personal Data shared with us whether of its own or any third party. In the event the User is sharing any Personal Data on behalf of a third person, the User represents and warrants that he has the necessary authority to share such Personal Data with the Company, obtained a written consent from such third party and the Company shall not be responsible for verifying the same. The User understands and acknowledges that such Personal Data shall be subject to the terms and conditions of this Privacy Notice.


  1. Processing of Personal Data by us on behalf of the Customers:

This section concerns the Personal Data of the User collected by the Customer through the Product, and such collection may be facilitated by us:

  1. The Company as a Data Processor: The Customer sets the purpose and means of processing of such Personal Data. We process such Personal Data only on behalf of and on the instructions of the Customer and for the purposes of rendering our Services to the Customer.
  2. Customer Privacy Policy: If you are the User of the Platform and your Personal Data was shared with us by the Customer, the privacy policy of the Customer, on whose behalf we collect and process the Personal Data, will apply. This means that any enquiry, request, objection or complaint that you as a User may have in connection with the collection and/or processing of Personal Data that forms part of your Product usage should be addressed to and resolved by the Customer.
  3. Personal Data: We may process Personal Data of the users that you may voluntarily provide to us while using our Product and availing our Services, including but not limited to the name, email address, contact number, account details, chat interactions, details of support tickets, IP address, operation system, browser type, web log data, referring and exit pages, platform type, number of clicks, domain names, landing pages, pages and content viewed and the order of those pages, the date and time you used our Services, the frequency of your use of our Services, error logs. We may also process Personal Data of users, on the Customer’s direct instructions, which is collected through identifier APIs.

The Customer has complete control over the Personal Data and the Company processes the Personal Data on the Customer’s behalf.

  1. Customer Responsibility: The Customer represents that it has acquired all necessary consents and/or relies on other appropriate legal basis for the processing of Personal Data of end-Users. Customer confirms that end-Users have been informed about that their Personal Data is transferred to the Company as a processor and other third parties used by the Company for the provision of Services.

We will process the Personal Data for as long as we provide services to the Customer and the Customer maintains active accounts of such Users.


  1. Anonymized Data

We may also use your Personal Information collected to create aggregate anonymized data. We shall ensure that such anonymized data will not be directly identifiable to you or to the Personal Information shared with us. We may use this anonymized data for any purpose including but not limited to conduct research, analytical purposes, commercial usage, enable advancements in technology, train artificial intelligence models developed by us or third parties and to improve our Website. By visiting or using the Website, you provide us with the right to use your Personal Information to create anonymized data sets and use it for our business purposes.


  1. Use/Purpose of collecting Personal Data

We use the Personal Data for the following purposes:

Although we provide appropriate firewalls and protections, we cannot warrant the security of Personal Data transmitted as these systems are not hack proof. Data pilferage due to unauthorized hacking, virus attacks, technical issues is possible, and we will take necessary measures to mitigate such events.

Residents of the European Union (“EU”) and United Kingdom (“UK”) should note that this Privacy Notice has been updated in accordance with the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (the “GDPR”) and the UK GDPR, the United Kingdom Data Protection Act 2018, the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, and any regulation superseding any of the foregoing (“UK Privacy Laws”). As per the provisions of the GDPR and UK Privacy Laws we shall be considered the Controllers of the Personal Data collected as a result of your use / access of the Platform and Processors of the Personal Data collected as a result of your use / access of the Platform.

Legal Basis (for EU residents and UK residents): We will not process your Personal Data without a lawful basis to do so. We will process your Personal Data only on the legal bases of consent, contract, or on the basis of our legitimate interests, provided that such interests are not overridden by your privacy rights and interests.

Transfer of your personal data across borders (for EU Residents): The Personal Data we collect (of EU and UK residents) is stored on servers located in the EU region or in India. Personal Data might be processed outside the EU and UK. We collect and transfer Personal Data outside the EU and UK in accordance with the provisions of the GDPR and UK Privacy Laws.
